Motor Vehicle Division
As of September 5th, 2023, the MVD office will now accept walk-ins.
The City of Anthony Motor Vehicle Division opened on Monday, November 9, 2015. It is staffed by a five-member crew and is capable of providing Identification Cards, Driver’s Licenses, Vehicle Titles, Vehicle Registrations, Handicapped Placards, and Written Driver’s Exams. Commercial driver’s licenses are not available at this time.
Between an agreement with the State of New Mexico, the City of Anthony NM owns and operates this office. The city does charge an administrative fee of $10 for all patrons per transaction. The facility is open for services Monday thru Friday from 8am to 4pm and exam hours are 8am-1:30pm. Closed on weekends and holidays. We do not offer powered industrial truck licenses, including forklift licenses. OSHA is the regulatory body responsible for regulating this category of motor vehicles.
