Dear residents, it has come to my attention that rumors have been spread about our Police Department and the role they play in our community. I would like to remind our residents of our resolution: Resolution NO. 2012-36 “A Resolution Expressing A Desire For The Federal Government To Enact Comprehensive Immigration Reform”. Our Police Department is here to serve the Public Trust in matters of State and City Law Enforcement only, not as Immigration officials or members of ICE.
